So you think you have to wait until everything is perfect and right before you can join God’s army and become His Children? Did you know that God loves you the way you are because He created you? He has a plan and purpose for your life. You are not an incident or an accident; you are here by God’s design. God does not call the qualified, He qualifies the called. He has called you to be His. God’s gift of eternal life is just that, a Gift that is free to all those who accept Jesus Christ as his/her personal Savior.

Joining God’s Army is a matter of A, B, and C.

A. Admit your need for forgiveness.

Romans 3:23-26. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

B. Believe that Jesus Christ came into the world to save you so that you may live in eternity with Him when this physical life is finished.

John 3:16-18. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

C. Commit yourself to following Christ and allow His Holy Spirit to guide you and protect you.

John 1:12 “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become the children of God, to those who believe in His name.”

Now just pray this simple prayer of Salvation and study the various Bible verses and themes that we have given you. God’s Word has served as the inspiration of many of the IJNHope poems written by me on this website.

A Sinner’s Hope

I come to you, as I am God
I know that by your grace Christ Jesus
You have given me Hope of an eternal life
My time here is short
Some days I don’t know what to do

It amazes me that for a sinner like me
You took so many stripes
You shed your blood on the cross
I still can’t believe that you loved me so much
That you willingly paid the cost

Thank you Jesus for saving me
From a permanent death
I know now that when I leave this life
I will eternally live with You

The death on the cross for a sinner
Bought me a Savior’s salvation
And eternity in the kingdom of God… Amen
